Frequently asked questions
How do I reset my PlayStation password without email?
Contact PlayStation Support if you lost or cannot access an email associated with your account.
Why am I not receiving emails from PlayStation?
First, check your spam and trash folders, as it’s possible that your email went straight there. Second, make sure you haven’t misspelled your email address. If none of the above works, contact PlayStation Support.
How often should I change my PlayStation password?
Contrary to popular belief, we don’t recommend changing your PlayStation Network password too often as it may lead to password fatigue and result in reusing old passwords or slightly modifying the current one. It’s enough if you change your password once a year. However, please make sure you use a unique, strong password and keep it safe in a reliable password manager.
Is there a limit to the PlayStation password reset attempts?
Yes, you have a limited number of password reset attempts. If you’ve reached the limit, please wait 24 hours. Otherwise, the counter will reset, and you will have to wait another 24 hours.
