Assigning Liability in the Era of Autonomous AI
Sola Security Enters Microsoft Pegasus Program

Sola Security Tapped for Elite Microsoft Pegasus Program to Take Its ‘Enterprise Security Brain’ Global
By joining the highly selective Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program, Sola is poised to leverage Azure AI and Microsoft’s vast enterprise network to deploy its unified, real-time security context layer on a worldwide scale.
Sola Security, the innovators behind the Context Layer and Enterprise Security Brain, announced today its acceptance into the prestigious Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program. This strategic milestone will accelerate the global rollout of Sola Lumina—a vendor-neutral security intelligence layer—equipping more enterprise security teams with the unified context required to successfully deploy autonomous security workflows and AI agents.
Solving the Fragmentation Problem
In modern enterprises, security data is notoriously siloed. Critical information is scattered across a sprawling landscape of disconnected infrastructure, business systems, and point solutions. As a result, both human analysts and AI agents burn valuable time and budget manually stitching together fragmented data for every single query. Without a centralized, real-time understanding of the organization’s digital environment, security teams run a high risk of making flawed decisions based on incomplete intelligence.
Sola Lumina bridges this massive visibility gap. It acts as a universal connective tissue, seamlessly integrating with an organization’s existing tech stack to maintain a dynamic, living map of the entire environment. This includes every user identity, cloud asset, host, SaaS application, and AI agent, mapping out their intricate security relationships. Consequently, existing tools, human defenders, and AI agents all operate from a single source of truth. Because every answer generated by Lumina includes a transparent evidence trail, enterprise-wide decision-making becomes highly accurate and exceptionally confident. Furthermore, Sola’s proprietary agent, Signals, utilizes this unified context to proactively identify and surface hidden risks.
“The effectiveness of any security decision-maker—whether it’s a seasoned engineer or a brand-new AI agent—is entirely dependent on the quality of the context they possess. In the enterprise space, that context is incredibly complex and widely dispersed. We have spent the last two years engineering an Enterprise Security Brain that keeps all context connected, live, and evidence-backed, ensuring that humans and AI agents have everything that matters right at their fingertips.”
— Guy Flechter, Co-Founder and CEO of Sola Security
The Proof is in the Data
Sola recently published two comprehensive benchmarks demonstrating the massive operational advantage of shared security context:
- Accuracy & Efficiency: In a study encompassing 50 tasks across eight platforms, AI agents utilizing Sola’s structured context delivered a 34% higher relative accuracy while running roughly 70% fewer queries compared to standard agents.
- Reliability: The study found that agents operating without a shared context layer were only able to produce complete, evidence-backed answers 78% of the time.
- Speed & Cost Savings: In a separate head-to-head evaluation against leading coding agents (Claude Code and Codex) across 28 AWS investigation tasks, Sola dominated. Sola achieved up to 1.95x greater coverage and completed investigations 1.5x faster. Most impressively, this was accomplished at a 97% lower cost per unit of coverage, allowing Sola to outperform the leading code agents in 24 out of the 28 tasks.
Scaling with Microsoft
“We identified the problem, and we successfully built the solution. What we need now is massive scale,” Flechter added. “The Microsoft Pegasus Program gives us the vehicle to get our Enterprise Security Brain into the hands of more security teams, right at the pivotal moment they are integrating AI agents into their daily operations.”
The Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program acts as a powerful bridge, connecting elite startups with Microsoft’s premier enterprise customer base while providing dedicated technical backing, including deep access to Azure AI capabilities. Sola enters the program already boasting strong ties to the Microsoft ecosystem: Microsoft’s venture fund, M12, was a key investor during Sola’s Series A funding round, and the Sola Lumina platform already integrates natively with critical Microsoft environments like Azure and Entra ID.
