Scope Of Work
Standard Deployment:
- Deploy the SoftNext physical or virtual appliance into the end-user network:
- Prepare a physical machine by V2 and deliver it to the end-user or the enduser to provide a hypervisor for installing the SoftNext system.
- Connect the Softnext to the existing email system.
- Enable the built-in policies for mail archiving or antispam setting.
- The tasks to complete onsite.
- Onsite: The services are only available for working days office hours (Monday-Friday, 09:30 am – 18:30 pm, except for all holidays), for each onsite task (For example, the service time starts counting as our colleague leaving the office until they return to the office)
Remarks: If the reseller / customer wants to reschedule the planned session, please update our colleague 24 hours in advance, otherwise, the service token will be consumed. If the user adopts SoftNext for achieving regulatory policy, this standard service cannot fulfil the project. The service is not included if the user requests the consultation for the antispam, mail flow or /and mail archiving setting, policies, setting and/or optio
Requirements
- Network communication
- The SoftNext appliance required TCP 80 and 443 to connect to the internet for the activation, signature update and system update (The connection can be connected by HTTP Proxy).
- The SoftNext Provided TCP port 80 and/or443 for the web console.
- The network connection between the email system and SoftNext is required (Direct connection or port forwarding).
- Hypervisor
- If the SoftNext is designed to install into a Hypervisor, for example, VMware ESXi, MS Hyper-V, etc. The virtual environments must be prepared before the installation process.
