The Challenge: Fragmented Systems & "Tedious" Workflows
Before JumpCloud, Papernest relied on a mix of different solutions to manage their heterogeneous environment of Windows, Linux, and Mac machines. With half the company on Active Directory and no mobile device management (MDM) in place, the IT team lacked shared visibility.
“I'm in charge of all of the IT in the company,” says Carles Anton Güell. “We were not really managing the computers because we didn't have the right tools. It was tedious to navigate between different systems.”
The Solution: A Unified Strategy
Papernest sought a solution that offered the same centralized control for IT that they provide to their customers for subscriptions. Already using Google Workspace, they needed a tool with seamless integration.
After a successful free trial, Papernest partnered with IT consultancy Devoteam to ensure a smooth full-scale deployment. “Devoteam is great,” Carles explains. “They have a solution or help you find one as soon as possible.”
The Results: IT Management Made Simple
Improved Security Posture
JumpCloud enabled Papernest to push out uniform policies to all devices. The team also implemented Cloud RADIUS for secure WiFi authentication and JumpCloud Password Manager to secure user credentials.
Streamlined Onboarding and Offboarding
Previously, SaaS access was granted manually. Now, Papernest has built automation into the workflow. “Soon, we will have the onboarding and offboarding fully automated. I'm so excited,” says Carles. The team now spends just 10 minutes with new hires to explain how JumpCloud simplifies their work life.
Scaling for the Future
JumpCloud has become a partner that scales with Papernest’s growth. The ease of use allowed a small team of five to successfully manage 900 users globally without "reinventing the wheel."
